Caravan towing cover query

I am thinking about getting a cover for the front of the caravan. Can these stay on during the winter also or are they only for use when towing. Protec seems to have a good one for sale. Has anyone used one?
 
We use a custom made tailored cover from Specialised covers. it has clear covered openings for the forward lights and fits perfectly without bagging etc. There are also flap covered openings for the manouvering handles too. I would certainly recommend a custom made tailored cover for the fit and practicallity. And no i don't work for Specialised and neither am i on commision lol. Also i have had cause to call on their aftersales service which is exemplory in the extreme.
