Not sure any of us know but both do far better than a car. We bought our last caravan for about £16,000 and after six years got £9,000 as a trade in. A lot depends on the desirability of what you buy but the dealer regarded something different as a good buy because most caravans tend to be very similar. Ours had an L shaped front end which might have helped.

Our previous Bailey had that layout. We now have parallel seating and the front chest which we prefer.
Have I missed something Ray 🤔

A week in Tenerife including flights will set you back £1K each.
You can caravan all year round.
Which is the best value 😗

I never count the cost of the van or it's depreciation as part of the cost of holidays. What I do think is that caravanning is not about costs but a lifestyle choice. We can go where so ever we want, whenever we want to with home like levels of comfort as little or as often as we want to.

Basically we took the L lounge option because we prefer it, it was the dealer when we traded it in who suggested it made it easier to sell. I suppose most dealers have a stock of second hand caravans all very similar inside so something a little different might stand out. I appreciate though that most people go for the paralell lounge and it is just what you prefer with no right and wrong answers.
