ok well its time to renew the van insurance again....sigh :)

but im at a loss to know the value of the van for insurance purposes.

is there a formulea used to show depreciation ?

how do you do it ?:)

i have a 2006 compass rallye 640 t/a serviced every yr vgc...

Try an internet search for used vans the same or similar? That should give you a gauge:0)

Paul, i assume you would want new for old insurance, most insurers do this for caravans up to 3 years old. The cc do this for vans up to 5 years old. Now if this is what you want you need bto insure the van for the new price today, as tis is what the insurer will pay you. If you insure for current market value or new price when bought thats all you will get back if you need to claim.

I always phone the supplying dealer, they have an equivalent glasses guide, sometimes if not new for old, the insurance company will give you the value.
