Caravan Virgin

Hi my name is Tara, used to go caravanning when I was a child with my family, however now its time to start doing it with my own children, (static caravans for 1 week cost too much money!!) So we invested in an old caravan to start with, its a Mardon Mystique, quite nice and tidy, but small! Not sure about spending 2 weeks away in it in the summer!

New to all this anyone got any tips to make life easier, quite excited but also a bit dubious about it all. Always had a great time when we were kids though.

As for making life easier, take a man as well as the kids. we can be very useful at times you know!

Yeah suppose I had better take the husband then - he might have his uses!

Obvious thing is big as awning as possible.

Extended our awning to 3 metres when we had three kids. + a sleeping compartment. Our kids never wanted to sleep in the van and the Awning was "their" space.
