Currently have an Abbey Aventura 316 and it is quite warm in the winter.

How warm are Bailey vans and does anyone know how to find out the insulation level and if so what it means?

Thank you

Alex

Hi Alex,

I've found this in the latest Bailey caravan brochure - Fully insulated walls, floor and roof to grade II classification of

EN1645-I (Panel thickness : Sides 28mm, Ceiling 31mm &

Floor 44mm).

We used to own a 2005 Bailey Ranger 470/4 and found it to be a warm van - sometimes a lttle too warm in hot weather (I can't remember when that was!).

Alex,

Don't know what the insulation level is in our van but it's lovely and warm. Same as Martin's a Bailey 470/4 2005. :)

If youhave the handbook or brochure for your caravan itmight give the insulation level in that. Most new and recent caravans have an insulation level of 2 which is classed as suitable for all year use.

We stay away a fair bit over winter in the UK , snow , ice etc and have never found the heating wanting. This is in our Bailey S5 Pageant Vendee. If we have forgotten to leave the heating on whilst out we start up with the gas system, absolutely fantastic response within 5 minutes.

Cheers

Alan
