I have been in touch with Lunar Caravans but trying to get information from them is like trying to get blood from a stone, the Venus range of caravans from them have lockable window catches, they have red push buttons on them, but they buy the preassembled windows from Slovenia, they will not tell me who they buy the windows from. All I want is to purchase some of the catches to replace the ones in my van to give added security but obviously will have to have the correct hole centers.Does anyone have this info?

NO those are the ordinary catches found on just about all caravans, take a look at the ones in a Venus caravan,you cannot open them unless the red button is pressed, a good security device. An ordinary caravan window can be opened from the OUTSIDE in about 60 seconds then all your posessions are gone not very good security.

You don't tell us how old the caravan is, but if its less than 6 year sold then you should contact the dealer that sold it to you. Advise them the catches have failed and under SoGA it has not been of satisfactory durability. Ask them to supply the replacement parts under SoGA.

As the caravan is under warranty, any alterations may void the warranty. Anyway if a thief wants to get in and you have made it more difficult, they will simply do more damage. We would rather they nicked stuff with minimal damage.
This type of lockable catch is really for when the windows are on the latch a bit like the seitz windows catches.
When the window is is the closed position its not a problem.
To be honest its a plastic catch one sharp smack and it would break apart.

Sorry Sproket did not see the rest of the list just the top one which of course a bog standard catch the rest would fit the bill but "saints preserve us" a bit pricy arn't they.
