Caravan Wiring Protocol

PCv August 2023 has an excellent article about fitting your own motor mover. Comprehensive and in easily understood language
Possibly an accidental omission but worth a comment not criticism!
Any holes drilled for cables must imo be fitted with the appropriate grommet to avoid future cable rub and a possible fire. The sequence of photos in the article show the cables passing through an unprotected hole

My mover was fitted by the dealer when we bought our caravan, swapped from the previous one taken in part exchange - our present AWS technician highlighted an issue that they'd only used an over-size grommet where the cables entered the battery box, potentially allowing battery fumes into the caravan interior - the techician removed the grommet and sealed it with mastic.
