Hi

Have you look at the cost of caravaning and other things to go with it.

We came up with be for we cud use the we had to pay out a year £1100.

Disel cost to place

And stoping at sites.

We also had to swop the car as well.

set up and packing up.

And the famly as well.

A year on

In the past year we been away 7 time and each time we was a away I not been happey with what we have stop in.(I did say so thick)

Not like it as much

I like going to place where we would not go to.

going away at the drop of a hat.

Caravanning is not as inexpensive as people think when you take into account the 'hidden' costs such as storage, maintenance and insurance.

Mainly because of rising costs we have taken up rallying with the C&CC.

We go to some interesting and very picturesque places which can be reasonably close to home or in any area of the country and we've met some great people on rallies.

We find that we spend more time away in our caravan than ever without denting the finances too much and we never have to worry about booking. We can decide on the same day and just turn up or if the weather is bad we can stay at home with no need to cancel anything.

Mark are you saying that you are not happy with the places you have stayed in since you got rid of the van. Or that you were not happy with the sites when you had the van?

I thought that mean't that in spite of the expense and packing and unpacking you still preferred caravanning.
