Caravanstore Zip awnings

Looking at buying one of these. Can anyone tell me the configuration of the 3m or 3.5m version please, as to where you can have a door when front and sides are in place. Ideally I would like the choice of door in the front panel, plus one or both side panels. I've not been able to find anything very useful on the Fiamma website, nor a dealer who has one erected on display.

I would also appreciate any comments on how well the side walls seal against the sides of the caravan, given that they are not in the awning rail.

Thanks for any advice.

There are no doors in the side panels. The door can be placed on either side of the front panel. We have a 2004 Zip which has bungees to hold the side against the 'van so it isn't a great seal in wind. However, the later models have poles from floor to roof and seal in the same manner as a porch awning.

We like ours as it is easy to erect and can be put away when wet.

Agree with the above from SBS

We have the version with poles and I have a fencing "eye" or "ring" bolt bolted through existing chassis holes so that I can use a bungie strap round the pole attached to the "eye" and that pulls it tight against the van side

We also use veranda bars to help keep the poles against the van and provlde rails for towels etc
