Does anyone have experince of Fiamma Cravanstore Zip awnings? We are especially looking for advice about leaving the attached to the cravan, pros and cons etc.

Hi Stephen,

We recently fitted a Caravanstore Zip to our van and find it brilliant.Easy to put up and down (easier with 2 people!)

However last Bank Holiday we encountered some strong winds on a coastal site, naturally put the awning away but the wind was lifting the awning and was banging it against the side of the van, hence a fairly sleepless night.

Next morning I inspected the van and there was no damage at all. To rectify the problem I got out the trusted gaffer tape and put 3 short strips on the awning to the side of the van.No more sleepless nights and just took off the tape when the winds ceased.
