Hi all, I would appreciate some general tips on keeping your van in tip top condition over the winter period. This is our first van and our first winter, I have read some information about people removing the cushions from the van and cleaning the outside of the van down with wax to protect it from the frost. Useful advice greatly apprciated. Thanks Alex

Hi Alex

Wash the outside of the caravan with a proprietary caravan shampoo such a Fenwicks or Muc Off (available from caravan accessory shops) and apply Mer polish but don't buff it to a shine, just leave the polish on until winter is over.

It's vital to drain all of the water system including the water heater. Copy and paste these links into your web browser to see posts already submitted on this subject with more advice.
