Carpet underlay

Hi, we have a 2006 static, and need to replace the living room carpet, it is directly on top of wood, but very cold, which underlay could I use to warm it up which is damp/mould proof but fairly economical please, thanks

Just had a quick look on line and for example Screwfix clearly state those that are mould and mildew resistant with a noise suppression indicator too on various thicknesses starting under 2.00 square metre

What is under the wood? If nothing, consider applying 50mm insulation panels to the underside. Assuming it is accessible.
