Carsington Water HELP!!!!

Went a couple of years ago to the Pudding Room (CS) by Carsington Water for a week but now we're 5 not 2 it's rather expensive!! I'm sure from memory there were other CS's and CL's on the same road all walking distance to Carsington Water. Have looked on both club websites and can't find any others. Anyone able to give the heads up on this little problem as want to book for our nearer to home August holiday.

There is the knockerdown Inn. Looking at the website (never been myself) it runs to about £12 a night for you and yours but there is no ehu. I think it is a longish walk to carsington water.

Looked at that Mel, a couple of years ago but they were very odd and people don't stay long, Thanks though

Thanks for that one plotter but It's a bit expensive and I think we're sorted. A slightly dodgy sounding CS but it's only £5.50 a night which is much better cost wise as don't use EHU or facilities. The dodgyness was when I phoned yesterday they accepted the booking saying if they're full they just open up another field so could be a bit like a THS or rally field but hey ho should be okay (fingers crossed)
