Carver 3600

The Carver Heater has stopped igniting in the 1996 Bessacarr Wentworth. It worked OK a couple of days ago but SWMBO wanted it on again last night and I couldn't get it to light at all. Have tried Dr Gary's suggestion about the Knob position but that doesn't seem to work. The spark seems to be very random sometimes sparking to the left of the window then the right or middle. Any ideas please

Plain gary will do thanks Derrick! (only added for forums upgrade purposes) lol

With regard to the spark 'floating' about, it does suggest the spark is finding shortest path to earth but I've not come really across it before on this fire?

I wonder if it's about time it was properly serviced?

I think Dr Gary suits you but if you prefer Gary then... fine

I did have the van "serviced" just after I bought it but the guy who did it seemed more interested in ticking boxes on the service sheet than actually doing anything - except wrecking a perfectly good wheel bearing.

I'll be looking for a decent place to take it - if anyone can suggest such a place in the Cambridge Area I'd be grateful
