Carver 4000 Fanmaster

My Fanmaster heater has stopped working only on electric,it worked last time we where away but has now packed up.I getting 240v to the kettle type plug on the back+the plug goes in ok.When i select the heater option the relay clicks+when i move the heat slide up a relay clicks any pointers?

Thanks Steve! the slider switch itself is often the root of the problem, however until that's fixed for sure it can mask others.

Do all the lights work? and if so do they come on individually and at the same brightness?

Hi Gary,

Checked the heater today it has 4 lights on the slide control,the first 3 light up nice and bright the last one doesn't come on at all.I can hear relays clicking when i use both slides.

Yes the switch is at fault, all the lights need to work or the fire won't!!

You cannot get a new one but I'm kept busy repairing them!, if you contact me from the details Steve gave I'll explain.
