Carver Crystal 3 replacment

hi i need to replace my carver crystal 3 water supply unit which unit could i buy to replace it that will be the same size as not to make the install look messy ? also any ideas where is the best place to buy one and do i need to buy a new submersable pump or do i just need to buy a new plug to go with the new unit ?

The Carver now Truma Crystal mk2 filter housing is a direct replacement, you will also need the mk2 pump plug to convert your existing mk3 pump.

Sounds as though you are going backward but the mk2 is current, the mk3 was a step to far and Carver reverted to the mk2 design

thanks for that reply m8 its made it all clear now, can anyone recommend the best place to buy the mk2 housing and the pump plug ?

You should be able to get them at most caravan dealers. O'Leary's have them (look under 'water systems')

(I have no connection with o'Leary's by the way despite mentioning them in my last two posts!)

It's an easy job to change them. I think the mark 2 housing might be available in 'white' and 'ivory' so you can get the colour to match your other outlets/inlets.

When I did mine I found there was enough sealant on the back of the old one to put on the new one. The pipes on the back might be 'push-fit' so it's easy to do.
