Carver Fanmaster Warm Air Heater

Our fanmaster heater does not warm up any more. I'm wondering if the system has tripped out but can't find the reset flap/button. I've looked under the seat alongside the fire, I've taken the front of the fire off and without actually getting screwdrivers and removing the workings of the fire can't access anything else. I'm sure something like a reset switch is in a handy place but don't know where else to look - any ideas would be gratefully received.
