cascade water heater

hi could anyone supply me with a wiring diagram for a water heater in my lunar kumara 1989 model, the 12 volt wiring has been disconnected and i would like to get it back in working order if possible, thanks in advance bjohn.

Hi,I`ve got the full installation and user details for a cascade (fitted in a 1989 van) but the wiring diagrams are tiny and printed on the inside rear cover which is a fairly dark blue which I doubt will either scan or fax.What do you need to know and I`ll see if i can help.

hi angus the problem is that the 12 volt plug from the heater has been disconnected (brown + blue wires)and are lying next to heater i need to know were the wires connect to.there is no power getting to on switch (red amber green lights)

John,according to the installation instructions, the switch is connected to the heater by a multi-core cable, which is shown with moulded plugs at each end. Being a `sealed` cable it gives no info as to the colour of the wires within. It may be possible to get a new cable or one from a breakers.

At the switch end,it states that there are fuses on both negative and positive inputs, and confirms theDIN wiring code as blue=12V d.c positve (live) and white=12V negative (earth)

I don`t know if that helps, but it`s about all it gives other than options for switched pumps which you can address when you get the unit working.I should have said the wires at the switch end fasten to screw terminals on the printed circuit board.
