Casrleton Owners Club

The above owners club has cosed after 52 years.
On the club website , under "Menbership" they say that the club closed at the AGM in August 2013 after 52 years

Inevitable given they ceased production in the mid 90s however those of us lucky enough to have owned one remember them with great affection. Ours was a 1991 Roadser and was built with a level of craftsmanship I have yet to see the equal of at any price.

JTQ why should the closure be inevitable? Royale caravans ceased production in 1982, but we still have a thriving club which rallies 7 or 8 times a year! Our oldest van was built in 1970, and still comes out a couple of times a year.Enthusiasm is all that's needed to keep a club flourishing.
Nevertheless, it is sad to see yet another club fold up.
