Cassette toilet

Can I ask a noddy question? We want to clean out the various external lockers but are not sure which would let water into the van. The battery locker definitely does- we tried it! I expect the front locker would not, but what about the cassette locker? Sorry if this is a stupid question but we are very wary after the battery locker episode.

I'd expect all caravan apertures to let water in - going by the number of caravans which leak at seams.

Are you using a hose to clean lockers out? I wouldn't use anything other than a damp sponge.

Through the cassette door the unit is simply fitted directly to the caravan floor - the toilet may be sealed from the toilet compartment but there's no sealing between toilet and floor. If you put water in it has to go somewhere.
