"Herzim (screw cover) thumb" can be caused by being over enthusiastic whilst replacing the awning rail trim once it's had the sealant removed and reffited.I have found another cause, replacing window seal trim also leaves aching thumbs 🙂

As I get to do a lot of herzims trim /window seal removals and replacements I have tools from Seals+direct Both require learning the best technique and someone posted another insert tool for the window seal capping which looked better. I agree though you still end up with sore fingers 🤣

Yes that is a pain which is why after a couple of hours struggling I bought their prescribed tool works great save thumb erosion and wear and tear on arthritic joints etc. Did the whole van took best part of a day. Would of been less wobbly ladders and excited Labrador slowed things a tad
I found the Herzim strip quiet easy just a lot of it,as for the window infill I fitted it now shows the rest up,I will be ordering some more plus the tool 🙂 thanks for the replies
