cc directions

having just been to rowntree park in york, wonderful site, beautiful city. I posted a question on directions to this park on uk parks and touring, i was told to follow cc directions if coming from the west along A59,well their is no reason what so ever to drive straight into york town centre turning left at traffic lights onto blossum street then right down nunnery lane to the bottom which is all of 5 mins drive then the site is 2 minutes away otherwise if you follow cc directions this journey takes an extra 20 mins, going round the outskirts of the city. This is a main bus route and i did it with a twin axle bailey senator and pajero towcar with ease just like any driver could do,unless you are blind or stupid, like i said on previous posting cc route is to do with york not wanting caravans bringing the image of the city down!!!!!!!!!

You say in your posting there is no reason to go through the city centre,so why did you ?
should have read "their is no reason not to drive straight through york town centre" sorry about confusion.
