CC Sites directory and handbook

Just received new issue today.

Mine jumps from page 192 to 225.

Is this the same for everyone or is it just mine?

There are sites missing, its not just the numbering?

Mine seems to be intact. Similar number of pages again this year but very much thinner.

Probably using a lot less trees this year

Mine is fine. All Iwould suggest is call the CC and explain. I am sure they will send you a replacement.

However I did notice that in the Dealers List section they have the 3 Mendips Caravans Centres Newport, Evesham & Hewish in there listed under Mendip instead of the new "Discover Leisure" name.

Also Cardiff & Barry Caravan centres are mentioned in there, these have now closed, hope people ring before they go!

Pontypridd is also mentioned and I thought someone on here said that was also closed too!

Isnt it wonderful when the new book arrives? Cup of coffee, map books, highlighter pen (to show up those CLs with WCs) fee up and the dreaming starts.

It can be snowing outside, but you sit there and visualise the sites, cls, roads leading to your favourite sites. Check to see if the CLs you visit are still there and you begin to think that you will be hooking the van up next week.

I just love it when our book arrives. Oooh wish the weather was a bit warmer.

Fees are down from the advertised prices at CC sites as the quoted ones have VAT at 17.5% not 15%

Ooooh had not thought about that. Wonder if they will be issuing a supplement.

When looking at sites I use google earth or live serch so I can see exactly where I am going, the roads, footpaths,surounding countryside etc.
