Ceaning stains on plastic cups

I own a Swift van and with the van came 4 cups, now the van is getting on in years about 12 now but the cups are discolored with tea stains in side, I would like to keep the cups but would like also to have them sparkling white.
I have tried bleach and it did nothing, any sugestions.

You can also try "Milton" sterilising fluid, worked ok for me last time but if I remember correctly took a couple of days for the smell to go.....

I'd go with the steradent, but staying on the teeth theme, you could give the cups a toothbrushing with toothpaste as it is mildly abrasive. A soak in biological washing powder might also work, but lots of rinsing.

I use sterilising tablets, like Milton but in tablet form, any supermarket/chemist brand. I drop two tablets in the washing up bowl and fill it with water, then soak stained cups (and the dishcloth/washing up brush) in there for a couple of hours. Rinse well afterwards. May take another go if the cups are heavily stained, or you could try putting quarter or half a tablet in each cup and filling it with water.
