Hi richard

its excellence for an overnighter or any time in fact, the snack cafe is something to see, not that cheap for such an establishment but its wackey, that guy makes the fastest omlette in the world, just ask for it bien cuit!

the camp facilities as clean and well maintained (if a little old) and Chalon is a lovely town.

Great site thats always popular

Regards

Maddy

In the 'Marne' Department there is:

LE CLOS DU VIEUX MOULIN

51290 CHATILLON SUR BROUE

LA VALLEE DE LA SEINE

51260 CONFLANS SUR SEINE

CAMP MUNICIPAL

51200 EPERNAY

CAMP MUNICIPAL

51120 SEZANNE

CAMP MUNICIPAL LA PEUPLERAIE

51300 VITRY LE FRANCOIS

all of which are listed as having a pool, or adjacent pool, according to www.campingfrance.com

The municipal sites are often next to the Community Swimming Pool, and sometimes as a camper you get free use of the pool
