We've been towing with Volvo v 70s and this latest one a Diesel Auto. It tows great but we feel like a change though very tempting to go for another Volvo V 70 Auto Diesel. We don't know what to choose Mercedes, Vauxal Signum , or something else.
 
Having looked at a Vauxhall Signum it was too uncomfortable for my back, having driven Volvos for 25 years but am tempted by an Audi A4 Avant. However having read peoples comments about it's capacity as a tow car despite Practical Caravan voting it best family tow car I now have my doubts. Thanks for the info on the Audi A6 Carolanne but it's a bit out of my price range and a bigger car than I wanted.

Any other comments about the Audi A4 please.
