Changes to Churchill Car Insurance

I have just noticed in small printed in a flyer that came with my policy renewal documents that they NO LONGER include comprehensive cover when using the car abroad.

An additional premium is payable (approx £35 for 3 weeks) for comprehensive otherwise you only get 3rd party cover.

Is this common with other companies?
 
Reg, I have done alot of homework on car insurance ofer the past couple of weeks and yes it is suprising that some companys do only insure abroad on TPFT not fullt comp. were with the cc and the quote this year was just over
