Charging Caravan 12v system from an external lithium battery

So, I now have the caravan and did an experiment with my LiPoSO4 battery with the connector. The ATC Stabiliser activated as mentioned in this thread but I was able to select the 'vehicle' battery on the Swift Command. All was good but then I noticed when turning on a couple of things I was getting quite a bit of voltage drop (13.3v on the battery and 12.0v on the Swift command) with only about an amp of current draw. I will check the wire resistance to work out why I was getting so much voltage drop.

Was an interesting project but I think with the ATC drawing power (not sure how much) it's probably not going to work as a solution.

I'm now thinking about maybe putting in a battery selector control so I can take the lithium battery as a spare and switch it over when it's needed. A project for another day when i'm feeling in the mood for a challenge! For now though I'm going to use the hybrid solution and just run some appliances directly from the lithium.

Thanks for all your help!
