Charisma Fridge

My brother in law has a new Swift Charisma and on two or three occasions his fridge has switched itself off. After taking it back twice to the dealers they finally told him he should be running the fridge on maximum all the time. It is one of the new electronic models. Has anyone else had the same problem.

We had the Thetford fridge in our Ace Award changed because it wouldn't freeze on max

We ran the new one on max and that froze 2 hard boiled eggs solid in the main fridge part last week

We have now reduced the setting!1

The fridge is a Thetford. There is nothing showing up on the dis play when it cuts out. What the engineer told my brother in law must be correct, as he has just come home from bring away for a week and the fridge has worked perfect(on max setting)He thinks this is what he has to do in the summer months. Another fault he has encountered is the control buttons on the front of the fridge. They can easily be altered(without realising it) by accidently brushing against them when doing the washing up at the sink. Ken

It wouldn't have been correct for us as frozen eggs are hard to eat and cold to suck

The Thetford fridge need to be level more so than the Dometic

That could have been a factor
