charmouth to m5

Hi guys im heading from charmouth to cumbria on friday whats the best route to the m5 northbound please

I would go from Charmouth to Axminster, then the A358 to Taunton where you can join the M5. It's a good single carriageway road but you're only on it for 25 miles or so.
