John,

Yes I know which part you are looking for but not sure why you want to know if all manufacturers have standard sizes when you have already established that Scott spares are available?

As far as I know there are three blade type stabilisers on the market- Scott- Bulldog - & Snakemaster. They are all pretty similar in design but the Snakemaster seems to be made of lighter gauge metal and doesn't look as robust as the other two.

Scott and Bulldog look very similar but if you have a Scott and can get proper spares then why chance anything else.

No their not the same, two are very similar to each other but the slot is slightly bigger on one than the other, the Bulldog is totally different in design and the slot again I think of a different size.

In Theory a small lug will fit in a slightly over sized slot or a larger lug can be adjusted to fit a slightly smaller slot. If your thinking of getting one from a breakers though, make sure you have a rough file as well as your blade with you as rust and paint in the slot is enough to change the size.
