I am holiday this week and intend to have a day trip to Chester,as I have never really been there as a tourist before I need to know where best to park and where to go /what to see.All suggestions welcome.
 
plenty of p+d car parks off the main drag, but they fill up quickly.
i always use the multi storey tesco carpark
 
Hi Plotter me old mate - I used the park & ride £2 each for return. Only problem they set down in one street and picked up in another so it was confusing. Went to have a look around the cathedral and they wanted to charge us £8 each. Had bit of an up & downer with them as I am under the impression that entry to all churches should be free (to pray and sanctaury from harm). I understand and will freely give donation of my choice to any church but to pay before entry is a different matter.
