Thank you for that link and interesting article and photos. I am imagining the Eccles being craned onto the ferry deck without the ease of RORO that we take for granted now when crossing to the continent!

Hutch, thank you for posting this: great / fascinating little read! Wealthy they may have been, but certainly Mr and Mrs Fuller were very brave - no recovery cover in those days!
