Just read a very amusing , but gently alarming, article about future chicken prices. As a result of C 19 restrictions there is a world wide shortage of CO2. Part of chicken feed production requires CO2.

As a young lad in the 50s/60s chicken was the most expensive meat. Mum often had a large Capon for
Christmas and Easter. Meanwhile Roast beef was cheapest. I well remember the large topside rolled joints that gave us two wholesome meals and dripping sandwiches on a Tuesday😃😃.
The tables have turned again. I think we all need to set up our own chicken runs for eggs and fresh meat. But there again who could really eat their pets😜😜😜😜
