Hi everyone

Anyone know of a Scotland or North England site open Christmas, hilly scenery and reasonable price please? Found a few but £22 upwards - for a week thats a bit much. Found one looks good Hadrians Wall Caravan Park, Haltwhistle but cannot find photos of the scenery around there. Anyone been?

I know that Chatsworth CC park is open at Christmas - not sure of prices but it is a nice, quiet site with access to the grounds of Chatsworth House. Also, I think that Bolton Abbey Site is open at Christmas. Mark (",)

The Caravan Club site at Hawes in Wensleydale is great at Christmas. Hard standings, excellent heated toilet block. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk into Hawes to the shops and pubs. Good views and good walking country.

Hi Christine,

You don't say how far you wish to travel,but Invercauld at Braemar should tick all the right boxes. CC site with drying room etc. If your really lucky the snow season will have started and the place is spectacular. Last year quite a few vans had Christmas Lights, it's a really nice site and a short walk to the village.

Hi Christine,

The Caravan Club site at Meathop Fell ( just outside Grange over Sands ) is open all year round as is the Club site at Edinburgh.You're getting quite a list building up now !!

Hi Christine, Spring Willows Near Scarborough North Yorkshire is open for christmas and new year, we went there last new year and thoroughly enjoyed it will be going again this year too if we can get booked in.
