Just in from a 42 miles round trip to take the wife for the train up to Edinburgh. Road conditions were freezing fog, damp, miserable and cold. I was the odd driver out as I had my fog lights on, and yes it did warrant them. Not another coco had foggies on, and about 80% of them had n o lights on Just the DRL,s that so many depend on. Just makes you wonder how they got a licence.

It seems to be, today, Saturday 2 trains every hour, mind there is only 3 carriages on them and they looked busy.
The issue with modern cars is that driving lights come on automatically at the front, but not at the rear of the car - folk forget and assume that all lights are on - in fog the sensor does not put them on automatically so you need to remember to put them on manually.
I also don't like the feature when driving lights are on, which on some cars turns the driving light off when the indicator is on.

Just to be a bit pedantic they are Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and not driving lights, but know what you mean. On our car the driving lights come on automatically over riding the DRLs if the light is bad. The rear lights then also come on. 👍 😀
