Cistern drain valve - Bailey Ranger 470/4 2008

Hi, I am struggling to find the right part/replacement for the little drain valve for the cistern on my bailey Ranger (470/4 2008).

The valve is located in the waste compartment to the top left.
I am unsure if the previous owner has made a makeshift value as I can see plumbers tape being used.

Can anyone advise on the correct valve I should be using?

Attached is what I believe is a makeshift plug.. looks odd to me.

On my Coachman , it is just a little rubber pipe with a bung in it, only ever drain it in the winter, sorry no photo.

I think this is what you are looking for:

Pardon our interruption...

By the looks it should simply push into the 'stub' of the drain hole instead of the 'lolly-stick' plug fitted to yours. The flexi pipe allows you to drain down the flush tank into a bucket et al. Grand cost of £11.70 post free!

Your caravan may not have been modified. Years back Thetford had freezing problems in the winter because the pipe fitted was not fully draining the whole system.I modified mine years ago foc. So now I have two pipes fitted! I guess you will have to buy the extra tube now .
