We love the Haughmond Abbey Farm CL. Its got hookup but you need your own sanitation. A lovely peaceful Meadow not far from Shrewsbury, Rochester etc but it feels a lifetime away. You need to go diown the drive past the enterance and turn in the farmyard befor approaching the entrance. Its one of the invisible security measures. When leaving with your caravan, you need to repeat in reverse.
 
their is a place called lower lacon caravan park in wem which is about 5 miles from whichurch it has two bars on there one for families and one for adults only. We have been there many times and it is peaceful they have got a website with all the numbers and they will also send you lots of info much recommended
 
You asked about CLs and two of the answers above are not CLs. I suspect the one north of Whitchurch is not now a CL. Depends what you want. We never use loos but like an electric hookup. Suggest the following:

Bridgnorth- High Trees Farm. Easy access, two narrow bits on lane but OK. There is electric on site even if not mentioned in book also hard standing. You pay for what you have, so electric is dearer than none. Excellent views and 2 miles from the town.

Ludlow Hucks barn. Just south of ludlow in orchard. Quiet and lovely walks on paths from site Ellesmere Birch Hill Views friendly owners and town is well worth a visit. Easy distance to Shrewsbury and north wales.
