CL TYPE SITES

Hi All
Does anyone know any cl type sites in France Northern Spain and Portugal or suggest any web sites that will give me the information. As a retired person I have the time but not loads of dosh.

There are a few English owned sites in France and I have heard of another in Spain but in terms of costs they tend to be more expensive that using the ACSI Card. http://www.campingcard.co.uk/gb/en/europe/ So if cost is the main driver they might not be the answer. In France there are Camping a la Ferme basically farm sites and you could look here http://www.bienvenue-a-la-ferme.com/en/

I always use Camping a la Ferme sites for my main holiday in France, using municipals for overnight stops. I much prefer them to large commercial sites but as David says, they tend to be slightly more expensive than CL’s/CS’s. Still cheaper than mainstream sites though

Try camping le Barbuisse, near Arcis-sur-Aube. Very informal and only €8 per night inc electric last year.
