due to squeaking noises on our last 2 trips (mysteriosly the noises are only on the way back home its as if the van wants to stay away)we know we need 2 clean our hitch and towball wot exactly do we need.we keep hearing diffrent suggestions and we are gettin a bit confused.
 
I use Acetone to remove all the grease and oil on the ball and friction pads.

Not sure where you could get it from though. lol
