Cleaning Caravan Windows

We've just got a new van and wondering what is the best way to keep the windows scratch free?

clean with plenty of water and a light rub with a micro fibre cloth.if you get scratches rub out with t cut.

Fenwick's Windowize is also very good for removing scratches.

always use MER polish inside and out

Keep a very clean micro fibre cloth solely for windows absolutely nothing else, and use it with lots of water as "david" said.

Its the minute partials of gritty dirt that the cleaning fabrics hold that do the micro-scratching damage.

Tesco sell a cheap face flannel size micro cloth in their car section, its so cheap throw it when its at all suspect.

Will MER help with water dispersal? When towing through rain a lot of cr*p gets thrown up onto the windows and can be a nightmare when trying to clean off without scratching. I'm looking for something that'll help the water run off but some of the wax type polishes are not to be used on plastic windows - such as Autoglym, etc.
