cleaning off dirty black streaks

Hi
i am new to caravans
My newish compas has some dirty black streaks bown the sides
what is the best cleaner for this as they are hard to remove

I find a sponge clean with a good car cleaner gets some off, but the more stubborn ones come off dead easy with Auto Glym resin polish. Takes very little effort. Not best for the GRP front and back as takes the shine off abit, but auto glym do a caravan and motor home cleaner. Unlike other car polishes, auto glym can be applied on a warm surface an doesnt turn in to a powder when polishing off.

Fenwicks " Black streak remover "; Muc off, and semi diluted Fenwicks caravan cleaner all do a good job. I've also found things like Mr Sheen and dare I say WD 40 works! Best stick to the proprietory stuff in case your paint, which is extremely thin has a bad reaction.

Always found if l wash regular once month with Autoglm shampoo it comes off no problem, the trouble starts if you leave it for 2 to 3 months that's when you need the extra products, also l polish it twice a year with Autoglym.

just use any spray polish like mr sheen or any other it takes as mutch time as you spray it on as you can polish it off i carnt see why bpeople still pay for fancy polish .Spray polish takes seconds and leaves a polish .wax finish.

Can recommend the Aldi Caravan cleaner ,I have used it for somtime now and did post this but it wa some time ago.You do have to dilute this down so it becomes a bargain caravan cleaner

hi marty.
there is a great new product on the market which has been used by caravan distributors for years(but under a trade name).
Its called snails grime & slime(not joking) & is available on ebay(Snails products uk). I got the inside track on this cleaner
from my local distributor and its fantastic stuff. They also will have a quick spray polish coming out soon too under the same
Brand name.
hope this is of some use to you.
cheers
mark
