Cleaning the waste master

How do people clean the inside of their waste master? Ours is becoming smelly and it’s full of grime, i was thinking of soaking it in some bleach

i would use some Superclean liquid is a specially product suitable for cleaning your Wastemaster.
One 250ml bottle makes 30 litres enough to throughly clean a Wastemaster twice ,

Bleach diluted. Works well and is cheap. After this a flush then a bit of pink flush fluid to make it smell beautiful.

I’ve found that any odour coming from the wastemaster outside and underneath the caravan can only be detected if I lay on the floor under the caravan and rest my head on the wastemaster, when it’s being transported empty between sites the 2 screw caps keep any odours contained within.

I rinse it thoroughly before leaving a site and that seems to be enough. With the caps screwed on tight we have never had any problem. I would tend to go with a bit of bleach if you need to do more though.
To get a smell you have probably got some solid matter that has rotted and possibly a good rinse should clear it.
