I have an Abbey 216 fitted with a quartz clock made by Hermle, it is oval in shape and the only battery that I can find that fits is A23 which is 12 volts. Is that correct - don't want to fit and burn-out the clock! -- John
Because the clocks are quite small they take a reduced size 1.5v battery, in my Bailey it is a Panasonic LR1, and I have had the same in two previous vans. Cost about £1 I seem to remember. I don't think any quartz clocks would use 12v batteries.
Hope this helps.
I suggest you do a post on "swift talk". They will be able to help you if you give them the vin no ; full details of your caravan model , year etc.
Various batteries to various clocks have been fitted over the years and without more detail it is virtually impossible to advise.
When you get the answer please tell us.
Cheers
Hi all - thanks for your input. I have just found that the battery is specified on the back cover of the clock and is indeed an LR1!
Many thanks - John
