Hi,

Anyone any suggestions ??? Looking for a reasonable to good/excellent CL for about a weeks stay. Many Thanks in advance. This ghost busting is begining to take up a lot of time. I think we will need to take our niece along with us as she is Fluent in Welsh. Don't think we will be able to read the headstone in the Church Yard one our own !!!!!!!!!!!.

Frank there are some lovely sites in Pendine, Not at all very far from Carmarthen. Anthony can give your more info as he lives that way. I am from Pembrokeshire, the next county over, but i now live in Glamorganshire. Also try Around the Llanelli area and there is a lovely site at Pembrey- i think its a CC site. Failing that, I will quick search it for you.

Hi Diane,

I will look right now at these sites, we have two weeks booked at Gowerton, but I thought we could try a CL in Carmarthenshire/ Pembrokeshire. We are off to Cornwall tomorow for a week and then off to Wales. Val is from Glamorgan and we used to have a holiday home in Penarth ( Cardiff Bay )so we do know the area a little.

Thanks Val & Frank

Diane my father in law was one of 11 children whilst my mother in law was one of 13 children. There was a well known and respected family in the Garw valley with over 20 children. They would eat their food whilst sitting on the stairs as not enough room at the table. They lived in a three bedroomed terraced house with the "tybach" at the end of the garden. The beds never got cold, the girls would get up in the morning for school/work and the boys would return from a night shift in the mines. They were as happy as can be and never uttered a bad word about anyone.

Not surprised with all those kids in the Garw, no offence but i don,t think they have got T.V. in!!!!!Was Talking to a policeman the other day and he said he was off up the Garw for the evening. He said that there is a huge drugs problem up there. Very sad as i know years ago it was a tight knit comunity and everyone new everyone else. How things change.

Frank am not sure will ask my Dad.
