CLs

Does anyone know of a good CL in the Merseyside, CHeshire, Nth Wales or Lancashire area? I am very interested in CLs but the ones we have stayed at previously were a bit dreary. We would like somewhere we could go for the odd (peaceful) weekend.

Try Ty Newydd Llangwm Corwen. Haven't stayed here but I've booked it myself. If your a club member its in the hand book, sorry don't know the page but its also on the club web site. Search for Denbighshire , Wales

Have stopped overnight on the following CL in Cheshire and found it very pleasant. In your handbook it is on page 280 under the heading Northwich. Mrs M Wilkinson, Gravestones Farm, Georges Lane,Aston by Budworth,Northwich.

We were on our way south, and this Cl is only minutes from the M6 motorway so suited us fine.It is a very popular place so booking would be essential.

Thanks to both of you for your advice. We will try both and see how we get on. Have booked another CL in Scotland for our main holiday in August which looks great. Thanks again, Roz

Have booked 10 days with Mrs Lauder in Benderloch, Oban. It's on page 480 of this year's book. It also has a website www.clsite.co.uk. Mrs Lauder was very prompt at responding to our e-mails and the site looks ok. Best wishes, Roz
