Clumber Park CC site

Hi all, the wife and I have just had 3 days at Clumber Park, the price £76 .....WOW
One of the days the water was turned off at 0930 and the toilet blocks were locked until 1630. It would seem they were doing health checks on the water system.
Firstly, I think if you are paying a high price for facilities they should be available or at least a price reduction and secondly who decided to turn the water off all day during the Easter Holiday when there were many young children on the site.
Is it me?

The costs of these club sites have now gone silly but I wouldn't think the club could do anything about the water checks despite it being at a stupid time. What they should do though is recompense you.
Probably the best way to address the problem is post it on the club forum, 'Club Together', because staff of the club take part in the discussions by monitoring it and that way your complaint might get answered.

And I thought we were paying too much at £10 a night for Easter, but I suppose we did have the misfortune of having to go with a CL that had electrics and a toilet for the location and availability.
