Hi everyone just come back form a lovely week away in the van, but we had a bit of a problem with the blown air heating, We have the

SP3002 heater when we were away we set it in 1000 thermostat at 20

heater control between 2 and three and blower on auto for the first two days this was excellent. Then during the third day the heat went off but the fan was still blowing cold air, the thermostat light was still on, turned it off for awhile cant remember how long turned it on again and it was fine, then it went off again and we couldnt get hot air nearly all day the heater was cold as well, turned it all off over night and use a portable blow heater on low overnight tried it the next day and it worked fine again for about a day then off again this went on for the whole of the week we were away.

Does anybody have any idea as to what the problem could be?

any help would be appreciated Rick

Actually Chris it would have been better if you were told to read the question headed 'technical' on this Technical page?!, basically the same problem as your and least ways my answer to that gives the first things you should look at.

You say set to '20', as later dials are simply numbered 1 to 9, I'm assuming then it's quite a few years old?

So in your case I'm not sure but my first choice is either a faulty over temperature stat or your 1kw relay is packing up?
