My hubby and I are staying at Cofton Country campsite near dawlish at the beginning of July for our wedding anniversary. Has anybody stayed here? if so, what,s it like and are there any pubs that serve food within walking distance, so that we don,t have to take the car.

We usually stay at Lady,s Mile, but my hubby fancied a change.

We stayed at Cofton last year and it was our first trip with thr van. There is a pub on the site and from memory there is a pub on the harbour at Starcross which you can walk to. We liked this site and would go back again. Denise
 
Hi we stayed at cofton last year highly recommended if you like tiered pitches... 2 things to watch out for.... 1) juat make sure your on a higher tier because with this weather weve been having you'll be floating down the river LOL!! 2) try to avoid being near the toilets as the kids ran around them till 11ish,

The pub on site does nice food and a great pint...

Would definately return...
