Cold Taps Not Working

Hi, We have an ancient Abi caravan, Jubilee Diplomat. The water pump has just been replaced and we now have working hot water in both the kitchen and bathroom taps. However the cold is not working on either of the taps, the taps make the little click when we turn them on and off but no water is forthcoming! Any advice would be gratefully received. Many thanks in advance.

If they make a click AND you can hear the pump running but still no water, the taps are blocked with limescale.
There should be a filter on the end of the taps which is removable to clean it, have a look .

Ok, thanks for that .
Are they separate taps? or one of the dual swivel type taps?
If single taps you should get cold water out if you open , say, the kitchen tap and operate the hot tap in the bathroom??? If a dual swivel tap the same applies, open one on the cold setting, and operate the other tap on Hot,,,,water should come out of the cold tap as well.

If this happens, then it points to the microswitches in the taps, which will either need replacing or depending on the make and type of tap, replacing the taps.

Thank you. It is a dual tap in both the bathroom and kitchen. It seems odd that both the cold taps are not working. Will order a replacement for the kitchens. Many thanks for you help.

Before buying taps which are expensive, make sure the microswitch wires are actually connected and have not been disconnected for some reason.
It is very odd that both are showing the same symptoms.
